SUMMARY: Responsible for processing payroll and benefit managing benefit eligibility and enrollment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Payroll:
- Process semi-monthly payroll using ADP payroll processing system.
- Verify and input employee wages, taxes, garnishments, and other deductions using ADP Workforce Now and other systems.
- Perform calculations as necessary to track, verify, and submit data for payment of various employee benefits.
- Verify and maintain employee attendance records.
- Support employees with payroll issues and practices.
- Assist employees/users with scanning times, passwords, schedule changes, department allocations, overtime and requests for time off.
- Input and verify contributions and withholdings for benefit programs.
Benefits Administration:
- Interface with employee benefit providers.
- Support employees with benefit eligibility and enrollment.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local payroll and benefits related regulations.
- Process and track claims for short-term and long-term disability and other leaves, inlcuding FMLA and worker’s compensation.
General Human Resources Support
- Maintain and adhere to a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ensure job descriptions are updated, as needed.
- Oversee Livescan clearances and facilitate new employee onboarding.
- Provide employment verification for former and current employees.
- Maintain employee personnel files.
- Coordinate year-end exit interviews and produce paperwork needed to conduct interviews.
- Act as a resource for employees and supervisors as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Experience with ADP Workforce Now required. HR Certification preferred, but not required. Minimum work experience of at least three years in related field is required.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Collaborative nature, positive disposition, patience, sensitivity, flexibility, non-defensiveness, honesty, personal integrity, friendliness, fairness, openness, and enthusiasm. A tolerance for interruptions is necessary.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret written documents, and compose clear written and verbal communications. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to use computer technology to input and process data. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite is required.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and apply common sense when dealing with everyday and emergency situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and multi-task.
