The Archer School for Girls is seeking science majors who are interested in the teaching profession. Learn future-facing teaching practices under the guidance of expert faculty in our learning laboratory. Ideal candidates have a degree in Biology or related field, a growth-mindset, and an appreciation for the importance of working in a diverse and inclusive community. A passion for working with young people to explore real-world science is a must.

Responsibilities include:

  • teaching an upper school science course under the guidance of a mentor faculty mentor
  • subbing across the curriculum,
  • participating in co-curricular school activities,
  • providing administrative support as necessary.

A bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field is necessary; a master’s degree and/or teaching credential is preferred.
