Philanthropy plays a significant role at La Jolla Country Day School. For 95 years, we have benefited greatly from the support of parents, alumni, grandparents, board of trustees, faculty, staff and friends who continue to invest in excellence and lifelong learning. Philanthropy is the distinguishing factor between a good school and an exceptional school.

The annual giving manager is an integral member of the philanthropy team, working together to oversee institutional giving and build school relationships through cultivation, fundraising, stewardship and special events. The annual giving manager implements the annual giving program (also known as the Country Day Fund) as well as other fundraising initiatives throughout the year. Their work also builds critical ongoing relationships that strengthen the donor pipeline. In collaboration with the office of philanthropy, this individual leads the process of defining tactics and strategies for meeting annual giving goals. They manage the day-to-day operations of the annual giving initiatives, the parent volunteer committee, and are responsible for developing regular communications with the school community.
